About Us InnerMission Productions is Carla Nell and Kym Pappas ALISA ZELJEZNJAK (Technical Director) is a recent graduate of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art’s Stage Management and Technical Theatre course. While there she worked on various productions including; Two Gentlemen of Verona the Musical, The Sea, Others, The Devil’s Disciple, Roberto Zucco, Otto Klump (a new musical) Shopping and Fucking, What The Butler Saw, Twelfth Night, Pericles, Diary of a Madman (a new musical), Mixed Up North, and The Journey’s End. Her work in San Diego includes; A Raisin In The Sun (ion theatre, Assistant Stage Manager), Marat/Sade (ion theatre, Stage Manager), The California Playwrights Project at The Old Globe (Stage Manager), Limonade Tour Les Jour (Moxie, Assistant Stage Manager), How I Learned To Drive (Onstage Playhouse, Lighting Designer).

CARLA NELL (Artistic Director) has over 13 years experience acting and directing in the San Diego theatre community. She is an SDSU graduate with a BA in Theatre Arts. While at SDSU she directed and co-produced the campus premier production of The Vagina Monologues. Now in it's seventh year, the campaign has raised more than $75,000 for local charities working to end violence against women. She was also featured in the KPBS special documentary: "Trial by Fire, The Making of a Theatre Professional." Locally she has produced and directed The Marriage of Bette and Boo at 6th @ Penn, I Am a Woman at Claire de Lune, an evening of one-acts at Diversionary Theatre, First Love at St. Cecilias Playhouse, Dancing at Lughnasa at Onstage Playhouse (winner of four Aubrey award nominations including best direction and ensemble), and Personal Space in association with THE COLLECTIVE. She directed listen at SDSU and co-produced the critically acclaimed Marat/Sade and All in the Timing with ion theatre. Most recently she has assistant directed Hold Please at The Old Globe Theatre, Nest by local playwright George Soete and How I Learned to Drive at Onstage Playhouse. Carla is also a member of the Pasadena Playhouse Directors Lab West.
KYM PAPPAS (Co-Artistic Director) Kym Pappas has credits throughout California as an actor, stage manager, choreographer, vocalist and designer. She has studied at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and with Doug Jacobs at SWC. She is currently the Intern Program Manager at OnStage Playhouse in Chula Vista . Although all of her roles have been special, that of teacher surpasses them all. Most recent stage credits include “Nest” (Sophie, InnerMission Productions) and “How I Learned to Drive” (Lil’ Bit, OnStage Playhouse).
